WHO/ My name is Eva Laux and I am seventeen years old. Currently I am a high-school graduate and I will finish school in July 2018. In my leisure time I like doing sports, meeting friends and visiting cultural events. I am a member of an athletics club and participate in different competitions.

WHY/ I have no concrete idea what I would like to do after school. Therefore, my idea was to do something practical before my study to gain experiences and to orient myself. I would like to do my volunteer service abroad because it means getting used to another language and other ways of life. It is important to me to work together with people. In school I was an ambulancewoman and really enjoyed this work. I am also  interested in medicine and in this year I would like to find out whether it could be a possible job for my future.
But why Israel?
Israel fascinates me – the country’ s history and the fact that it is the home to three religions. Especially in Haifa many people come together with different cultural backgrounds which is really exciting to me.
