Shalom,

as a student/ volunteer/ somebody who just moved out from his mothers kitchen, you have to cook by yourself, and quickly you have some favorites, which you are going to eat a long long long time, until you can't see it anymore. Well, we (Luca and I) have some "favorites" too, that may interest you:

Wraps: Just take everything you have and what is going to be bad and put it in one pan. Add some onions and garlic. Luca loves garlic, he really its everything with it. Take some "Wraps Bread" (No idea whats the name of it) and put it in the microwave. After taking out, put some yogurt on it, take some from the massacre in the pan, roll it and eat it. Delicious and filling.

Noddles with oil: When you are really run out of everything...When you open the fridge and it fills like an empty space in the middle of nowhere...When you are to lazy to get your ass to the supermarket...well then you have noodles with oil. The recipe is easy. Make noodles. Put oil on it. Eat it. Filling.

Noodles with vegetables: Because of the amount of vegetables in Israel, we are eating them twice a day. For the dinner just put onions and vegetables in a pan, put tomato sauce on it and mix it with noddles. Delicious and filling.

Nothing: The recipe behind that is also very simple. Just eat as much as you can at the hospital, so you do not get hungry at home.

Cornflakes: These are more like snacks. When Luca and I are watching something films we are eating a lot of cornflakes without anything (not even milk).

Massacre à la Luca and Samuel: After doing sport, Luca and I are little bit experimental in the kitchen. We take potatoes and make them in the pan. Add all spices you have. Add eggs. Add noddles. Ad Vegetables and then you have the "Massacre à la Luca and Samuel".

Pita: Pita is a bread, that looks like the bread you are using for Falafel. Maybe it is exactly that bread, I don't know, but the system is just like making sandwiches.

Porridge: Really every morning we are eating Porridge. Cornflakes, milk and everything addable from the fridge, like chocolate (because Nutella is to expensive), marmalade, fruits etc.

Coffee: I won't explain that. It is like water.

Beer: I won't explain that. It is like water.

Water: It is kind of necessary, but I prefer coffee

Sometimes we order something, go eating or just try new things in the kitchen but the things I mentioned are mainly our daily food.
