Shalom,
after 2 1/2 month of living here, I thought it would interest you, how my/our apartment looks like!
When you enter the apartment, the first thing you may recognize is our big view over Haifa, which is really impressive. You can put your shoes in our self made shoe-closet and enter the kitchen to your left. The kitchen has a camping-stove, microwave, fridge, everything you need to survive. On a wall you can see "Golden Rules", which Kathy wrote down. These are more recommendations, then rules ;). On your right your have a little room, in which our washing machine is and a closets, with blankets etc.
The 1 meter ahead, you stand in the middle of our living, which is separated in two corners. In middle you have a table and a closet horse, and at the window there is a couch corner, with the great overview I mentioned. At the big wall are hanging a lot of posters. I think this wall is being fulfilled since the first volunteers arrived here. In front of that wall is my lovely Keyboard I bought myself, because I can't survive one year without a piano.
From our living room, there is a floor to all our rooms and the one big bathroom with the shower.
The other I can't show you, because I do not know, if it is okay for the others, if I upload pictures from their room.
When you go down the floor and look to the right, you can see our (Luca and mine) room! Two beds, a closet and a lot of decoration. We found for example radiographs on the streets and put them together to a human, we took bootles of beer and put light strings in it. We bought old cameras on a flee market and hang them up. We printed photos and put them besides our beds, we got a billiard cue and are using it at a coat hook. Be bought a plant at Ikea and named it "Billo". It took a while, but now we really feel home in this room!
Now you have an impression how I live here in Haifa!
